The purpose of the Texas A&M University Physical Therapy Society is to acquaint students who are wishing to pursue a career in physical therapy with information about the field of physical therapy and the opportunities that exist within the field. The goals are for students to gain a better understanding of the field of physical therapy, to learn about the application process for physical therapy schools, and to be informed about different physical therapy school's programs.

Who is a Physical Therapist? A Physical Therapist is a licensed health professional with a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university a well developed background in the basic sciences and extensive clinical training.
